New Features:
Signup for Wagyu.io now only requires an email and password.
Wallet can be connected later.
Aim assist for controller
Controllers now has an aim assist that can be enabled/disabled in settings
Add "Loading" animation for Add Friend Screen
The smoke and flash (when firing) has now been updated for AKM
AKM Assault tournament (details written below)
Adjusted the way profile pictures are shown ingame
Adjusted the pagination in new screens
Integrated new Genblock Capital banner for tournament
Game Balance:
Adjusted the spawn mechanic for certain game modes, including a faster spawn rate for AKM Assault
Maximum dead bodies on the map reduced
This will help will framerate for lower-end devices
Fixed AKM bullet path
AKM should now feel better to aim and fire with
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug causing the leaderboard entries to show incorrectly
Fixed long text format for players in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place on leaderboards
Fixed window mode in settings being unable to be discarded
Fixed some PCs being unable to quit properly
Adjusted how XP is seen by the server
Fixed some pop-ups having incorrect button interaction
Fixed the tooltip sometimes overlapping
Fixed some armory images being a lower quality
Map Updates:
Lifted Ammo Boxes onto a table for easier access
Fixed some spots on the map causing pathfinding issues or players getting stuck
Optimized further several areas around the map to improve functionality
Advertisement billboard is now more visible to players
Sound Changes:
Fixed AKM bug causing decreased or muffled weapon sounds and player voicelines
New in-game sound for the AKM Assault tournament mode, with speed increasing the more zombies you kill.
AKM Assault Overview:
Game mode description:
Kill as many zombies as possible within a 10-minute period, using only an AKM Rifle and a Combat Knife Play for free, no NFT is required
Features:
Zombies spawn from all spawn points around the map
Zombies spawn at a faster rate than in prior modes, increasing spawn rate as the game goes on
Zombie speed slightly increased
Zombie HP slightly decreased
Reload Rootbeer XP cost increased to 20,000XP
Optics:
GenBlock Capital Sponsorship logos placed around the map
Use your desired AKM weapon skin from your NFT loadout if you choose
Tournament Leaderboard is now available after logging in to your Wagyu Games Account at Wagyu.io
Known Issues:
- On Mac, the game may sometimes stop responding when attempting to quit. Players may need to force quit the game on their Mac instead of quitting the game normally in the meantime. We are working on fixing this issue.
